Not against something, but for something
Our politics is driven not by rejection, but by building. We are not looking for opponents, but for allies in building a shared future.
Principles
Our politics is driven not by rejection, but by building. We think about Hungary’s future along the principles below, and they form the common basis of every decision we make.
Our politics is driven not by rejection, but by building. We are not looking for opponents, but for allies in building a shared future.
We are committed to the European framework of cooperation. Hungary is strong when it is a useful and respected member of the Union, while representing its own interests boldly and wisely.
The past is heritage, the future is a decision. We believe that by drawing on our traditions we can build a future we can hand down with pride.
The success of the 21st century depends on innovation. In quantum technology, artificial intelligence and digital solutions Hungary must lead the region, not follow it.
The politics of the past cannot create a new future. Real change lies not merely in individuals, but in technology, transparent operation and new methods.
Lasting progress is not born of improvisation. We build well-organised processes that are predictable, transparent and sustainable.
Building the future is not a project, but a mindset. We believe that creating value, working together and thinking long-term can give Hungary a new cultural pattern.
The path to progress is not agitation and exclusion. We stand for a culture of cooperation and listening, where debates do not open chasms but create new levels.
Fear and anger destroy. It is time to trust each other again and, on that basis, rebuild our country. The driving force of common action is positive energy, trust, service of the common good, faith and hope.
Principles of building the future
We cannot stay stuck in the past: we must build on shared values and goals. The homeland is not a campaign slogan and cannot be appropriated by anyone. The foundation of a strong Hungary is unity and cooperation; there is no room for discord. We must define what it means to be Hungarian today: not to dwell on what separates us, but on what connects us.
A 21st-century Hungary is a clean, transparent and well-organised state under the rule of law, where public money serves people, the best are given opportunity, and education, healthcare and environmental protection rest on long-term foundations. Where the foundations of living together and of a culture of debate are learned already at school — a country of which our descendants will say: “I am proud that you left this to us.”
One of our country’s greatest treasures is the talent and diligence of its people. As the world’s most successful countries show: it is not natural resources that make a nation wealthy, but the space it gives to the abilities of its citizens. Venezuela has oil, Finland does not. Angola has diamonds, Singapore does not. Yet the latter are far wealthier and more developed, because the country builds on the knowledge, health and diligence of its people.
We are a talented nation. Hungary’s future lies in a knowledge-based society, where everyone has the chance to grow, to learn and to thrive.
